The sun finally broke out and it was a spectacular day to drive thru Kansas. It is interesting how you get a feeling for a place. We had ridden the BMW into Kansas a number of years ago and i remember really liking the state. That was reinforced today. The angle of the fall sun and the yellow poplar leaves made the drive ”golden”. We landed at Kanopolis State Park. This is an expansive park on a man made lake. It boasts lots of trails for bikers, hikers and equestrians I don’t think there was one bad site in the park. We were at Buzzard Bay and were all by ourselves…..again! The bikes got pulled out and off we went to explore the park. Clear skies, cool breeze, 60 degrees and no humidity. A great way to finish out the day.

The next day dawned gloriously. ”The morning brings me word of your unfailing love.” I love this scripture from psalms.
