Tuesday April 5th, 2022

Now that we have landed in the Lonestar state we will settle into daily life with Amy, James and Sarah. This will include lots of pictures of our Texas Star. Todays highlight was going to the East Bernard Library for story time. Libraries hold a special place in our hearts. Mike is a voracious reader and I spent many hours with both Ben and Amy in our local library. It has been rewarding to see both of them become avid readers and have a continued love for libraries. Now we get to see it passed on to our granddaughter, Sarah.
Upon arriving, Sarah took me over to her section, held out her arms and said, “isn’t it beautiful?” Yes, Sarah it truly is beautiful.

We spent the rest of the day just hanging out and enjoying each other. The day ended with a big Texas sky sunset.
