Libraries, still helping us communicate while on the road.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Back when we first bought our rental cottage in Grand Marais we were spending some larger chunks of time away from home. There were no smart phones, iPads or laptop computers. We would use the local library to check emails and such. Today Mike had a board meeting that he needed to zoom.. I called the local chamber of commerce and the gal suggested I check out the Fort Smith Public Library. What a gorgeous facility. Mike was able to be in his own room with fast Wi-Fi and a beautiful view.. I had my laptop and was able to catch up on business as well. I was disappointed that the meeting only took a couple of hours. So nearly 20 years later, the library is still helping us communicate while on the road.

As I wasn’t sure how long Mikes meeting would take, I booked another night at Springhill campground. We were closer to the water and the bathroom, a win win. Are you noticing a recurring theme?
