Boo’s, Bones and Birthdays

October 30th-31st 2022

What a fun weekend! Everything on Amys farm has a name, from the chickens to all the equipment. Their little tractor is named Peanut and their new side by side is named The Raspberry. On Sunday we piled into The Raspberry and went trick or treating to the neighbors.

Amy has done a great job of ”neighboring”. Whether it is helping vaccinate cattle or computer issues, her and James have formed strong bonds. and of course the neighbors all love Sarah. It was a fun afternoon of socializing in the neighborhood. Pretty funny listening to one neighbor wondering what the other neighbor had been up to. Amy needs to have a block party for them all.

Sarah turned 5 on the 31st. It was quite a full day. She had requested ice cream cake and a visit to the Houston Museum of Natural History to see the dinosaur bones.

The ice cream cake was followed by presents. What could be better. After all that excitement it was time to take a drive to the International Tractor Dealership in East Bernard. Sarah wore out her tractor and wagon, so it was time for a new set. I had called down to the Hlavinka IH dealership a couple of weeks earlier and had them hold a toy IH Magnum tractor and gravity wagon. After getting the new farm toys it was time to check out the real deal. Such a fun couple of days. So glad we could be there.
